The Boys from Blue are back on tour, celebrating 25 years since they first hit the pop music scene. On the 23rd of May they will be at the Portsmouth Guildhall for one night only, so don’t miss your chance to relive your youth.
Simon Webbe, Duncan James, Antony Costa and Lee Ryan will be belting out all of their old favourites, such as:
- All Rise
- One Love
- Too Close
- If You Come Back
- Sorry Seems to be the Hardest Word
However, the group released a new album called ‘Reflections’ at the start of the year, so you can expect to hear some of their news music too.
Blue are one of the biggest boybands the UK has ever produced. Their first 3 albums all made it to number one and they went platinum 12 times in the UK alone, not to mention winning two BRIT awards. In other words, they know how to deliver a show, so this is sure to be an evening full of energy and fun.
There is also a very special song in the show called ‘One Last Time’, which was written in memory of a man called Terry who was a dancer on the very first tour that Blue ever did. He became Duncan’s best friend, and sadly died last year aged 44. So if you go, think of Terry when they boys sing that one.
Special Guests 911
They may not have been as big as Blue, but 90s kids will all remember 911.
Lee, Jimmy and Spike will be joining the Blue boys on tour, and banging out some of their most famous hits such as ‘Bodyshakin’, ‘A Little Bit More’, and ‘Don’t Make me Wait’
They might not be doing quite as many backflips these days though, so expect the break dancing to be toned down. See above for the last time they performed in the same show as Blue.
Tickets for the gig are available at three different price levels:
- Price Level 1 – £102.2
- Price Level 2 – £78.8
- Price Level 3 – £67.1
The show will start at 6.30pm sharp (the boys aren’t as young as they used to be!) so make sure you arrive in good time and that you’re ready to sing and dance to all the old favourites.
