An Evening With Denise Van Outen: Kings Theatre Portsmouth – 22nd of March

An Evening With Denise Van Outen will be showing at the Kings Theatre Portsmouth on the 22nd of March, and for fans of hers it’s a must see. For fans of musical theatre, or anyone who wants to learn more about life in the arts, it’s going to be equally as enjoyable.

A lot of people don’t know this, but Denise Van Outen began life as a child star. She was in Les Misérables in the West End when she was 11, and trained at the Sylvia Young Theatre School.

She has basically spent her entire life in the entertainment industry, so if anyone is qualified to do an “Evening with…” style show, it’s her. This will not just be a bunch of anecdotes and questions from the audience, it is a real performance. Denise Van Outen has performed in West End shows, on national tours, she’s done concerts and cabarets, and of course all of the TV she is known for. She’s done the lot.

See? She has a set of pipes!

Anyone coming to her show will be in for a treat of superbly sung songs, funny stories, insights into her life and some of her jobs that you won’t have heard before, and a lot of laughs – because if there’s one thing we know about Denise, it’s that she loves a laugh.

The production company behind the tour, Sweeney Entertainments, say this will be Denise as you have never seen her before, up close and unfiltered, and utterly unforgettable.

The show runs for approximately 2 hours and 20 minutes with an interval, with tickets costing £36.50 for adults and £34.50 for children and concessions.
