Back at Southsea Common for 2026 – it’s only Portsmouth Pride!
The well known and well loved event will be taking place on Saturday the 6th of June, and this is going to be a bumper edition tied in with the year long Portsmouth100, which is a celebration of our great city’s history, heritage, vibrant communities, and bold future.
There have been a few different Pride events already this year, but this is the main event. It’s free, it’s run totally by volunteers, and it is one of the biggest unfenced Pride events in the whole country.
And it’s super fun too, everyone always has a brilliant time.

It’s a real festival atmosphere, with lots of incredible professional acts set to perform, as well as plenty of performers strutting their stuff on the community stage, plus food and drink stalls and places to buy merchandise and other things like that.

So you can turn up and not spend a penny or treat it as a proper day out and enjoy lots of treats throughout the day.
Oh, and there is a VIP area too, so if you don’t like queuing for the loo and waiting in long lines for drinks, you might think it’s worth paying the £25 it costs to get access. There are other benefits such as a private viewing area for the main stage.
Gates open at midday and the festivities will end at 10pm – although after parties are almost certainly guaranteed.
